Traditional Whey Proteins
Traditional Whey Proteins can be either Whey Concentrates (WPC) or Whey Isolates (WPI). Both of these are derived exclusively from our uncolored and unflavored mozzarella cheese production, making our proteins well known for their exceptionally neutral flavor, white color, and sweet aroma. Our high-quality standards and single sourcing, result in consistent organoleptic properties from batch to batch, which make an ideal ingredient for food manufacturers and sports nutrition brands.
Native Whey Proteins
Native Whey Proteins (NWPs) are pure dairy proteins filtered directly from Grade A milk, with minimal processing. Leprino’s NWPs are known for their exceptionally neutral flavor, color, and aroma which make it an excellent ingredient for manufacturers. In addition to these organoleptic characteristics, NWPs can be used in Sports Nutrition Products because of their high content in leucine as this aids in muscle recovery. And it can also be used in infant formulas due to its non-existent content of casein glycomacropeptide (cGMP). All in all, Native Whey Proteins are the benchmark for protein purity.
